Born and raised in Hillsboro Oregon, Dr. Brokaw always felt at home on the sports field. She attended Century High School where she played soccer and lacrosse, as well as played in the marching band.
Dr. Brokaw attended Oregon State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During her time at OSU, Dr. Brokaw continued playing lacrosse but started to find herself struggling to keep up at practice due to back and knee pain. Upon discovering chiropractic care for the first time, she was able to return to her active lifestyle and gained a new passion for the hands on nature of chiropractic care.
Oregon State also offered her the opportunity to grow her love for physical activity and teaching through volunteering with IMPACT, a physical activity program for children and young adults with disabilities. It was here that she gained a strong understanding of the importance of leading an active life for people of all ages and abilities.
Having found an interest in chiropractic care and a passion to help others lead active and fulfilling lives, she decided to continue her education at University of Western States. She graduated from UWS with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology in addition to her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine.
In her free time Dr. Brokaw enjoys spending time outdoors and playing board games with her family. Some of her favorite things include hiking, mountain biking and working on her Jeep.
