What if I was hurt at work?

Most injured workers are entitled to worker’s compensation benefits. Following a workplace injury, a chiropractor can serve as the attending physician for the first 60 days, or 18 visits, whichever comes first. Typically all bills are paid-in-full by the insurance provider, but the doctors will work with your insurance provider to provide details regarding your specific situation.

What types of payment do you accept?

ReNu Chiropractic Health accepts checks, cash, Visa, and Mastercard as payment for services. Payments, including health insurance co-payments, are due at the time of service. Patients who are eligible for health insurance should bring their insurance cards with them during their visit, and we will bill your insurance provider.

Will I need x-rays?

This test will only be ordered if it is necessary to help our chiropractors diagnose your problem, or if your treatment has not progressed as anticipated. X-rays are generally not needed to receive care.

Will my treatment be painful?

Depending on their specific condition, some patients may experience a mild level of discomfort. However, the majority of the doctors’ patients report an instant overall decrease in pain. Our chiropractors will ensure that you are aware of everything they are doing before they perform the adjustment by providing explanations of their actions.

What if I have been involved in a car accident?

Oregon auto insurance policies, carry personal injury protection (PIP) clause of at least $15,000 per person, per vehicle. Typically, medical costs accrued as a result of the car accident are paid-in-full by the auto insurance provider within one year of the accident. Working with your insurance company, the doctors will provide details regarding your specific situation.

What if I don’t have health insurance?

Provided they can pay at the time of their visit; the doctors will see patients without insurance. Patients without health insurance  are also eligible for a discount. ReNu Chiropractic Health accepts standard forms of payment, including checks, cash, Visa, and Mastercard.

How long will my visit last?

Your first visit may last up to one hour, and follow-up appointments generally last about 30 minutes. Our doctors take time with each patient to connect with them on a personal level and help guide patients to a state of overall wellness. Time spent with our doctors is never hurried or rushed.

I’ve never seen a chiropractor before, what should I expect?

Patients visiting ReNu Chiropractic Health for the first time should expect that our chiropractors will take time to explain how chiropractic works and why it helps. They will ask questions, answer your questions, and provide explanations about chiropractic techniques. Patients should expect to undergo treatment on their first visit. Our chiropractors will work with you to establish a plan of care, and provide you with a clear plan for any follow-up visits. They will also provide you with home care instructions and a time frame for your anticipated return to pre-injury health.
